Omaha firefighters made quick work of a garage fire at North 25th and Crown Point Avenue Thursday morning, only to have to respond to the same scene again hours later.

The garage fire ignited on a detached structure around 1:30 a.m. It spread to another garage and damaged the siding on a nearby house.

No injuries were reported. OPPD crews were called in to address issues with power lines hanging right above the structures that burned.

Then around 4:45 a.m., crews had to go back for a house fire. The back of a home close to those garages caught fire, but crews again extinguished the flames quickly. The home is still considered livable.

No one was hurt in that fire either, but crews are still investigating what sparked both blazes.
