A group of Heartland students are trying to right a wrong.
It was earlier this week that Westside High School maintenance workers discovered graffiti vandalism at the school's stadium.
Vandals also painted over a memorial dedicated to the late Liz Karnes.
She spent years on District 66's school board, later dying of cancer.
Being that the spray paint colors were blue and white, administrators believed Creighton Prep students to be the vandals.
Friday, Creighton Prep boys offered a donation to the charity left in Karnes' name.
Parents say the kids raised $500.
