Friday night was a big one for Creighton basketball fans.
Hundreds showed up for the school's "Bluejay Madness."
Before it even started, dozens waited outside for officials to open the doors.
Once inside, fans found merchandise, and lots of school spirit.
For Lynne Wragge, it wasn't just a chance to support her nephew, Ethan Wragge, but to see what's in store for the coming season.
"We just always come down because it's just kind of a fun way to see the team in a relaxed situation," she said.
A flood of blue packed into the stadium.
The pep band psyched up the crowd and then it was finally time to meet the team.
The crowd cheered for each member of the men's and women's team.
Afterward, players got to show off their moves.
One fan, Jeff, Friel, wanted to see how those skills will pan out in the Big East.
"I think we have a strong team, so it's a good team to bring back into the Big East," he said.
For Wragge, it was the beginning of many exciting times to come.
"It's kind of an adventure. It's Ethan's last year and so we'll just kind of have to see how things play out and go from there," she said.
The men's team has its first game on November first.
Creighton women start on November fourth.
