It was a heated competition between six universities, but after receiving almost 150,000 votes, the winner of the Kathie Lee and Hoda Go Back to College contest is ... the University of Tennessee.
Creighton University was among the top six finalists. The other contenders were: Syracuse University, Ohio State University, University of Tennessee, Brandeis University and University of South Florida.
The show scoured the nation looking for the universities with the most school spirit. The school that received the most votes will get to host Kathie Lee and Hoda for a live show during the first week of October.
