Two cases involve stolen money both in Cass County Court.
Hearings for 29-year-old Gabriel Coen and 31-year-old Brandi Coen were last week.
The Cassgram reports They are the second and third individuals to be charged with possessing money taken in the December 7th Sac Federal Credit Union armed robbery and each are charged with theft by receiving, more than $1500, a Class III Felony. (Cassgram archives 2/21/13) Both have posted bond (10% of $15,000) and are out of jail.
Cass County Attorney Nathan Cox said Gabriel Coen waived his right to a preliminary hearing but a hearing was held for Brandi Coen. That hearing resulted in the judge finding there was enough probable cause that she committed the crime and should be tried in district court.
The first individual, 21-year-old Caleb Searcy of Plattsmouth, pled guilty to the Class III Felony and is in Cass County Jail awaiting sentencing on April 1st.
No one has been charged for the robbery yet.
