Sarpy County Crime Stoppers is looking for our help. At least two suspects are wanted for using stolen credit cards.
Surveillance video gives a clear look at a woman in the Taco Bell drive-thru in Bellevue on September 30th. That same night, a man in a pickup filled up at the Hy-Vee store gas station in Plattsmouth. The cards are linked to a vehicle break-in the day before. The victim is in the Navy, stationed at Offutt Air Force Base.
Police say thefts like these can really do a number on credit ratings, not to mention the hassle it creates for the victim. “Especially for someone in the military, who is serving our country, to have to go through these headaches. We want to put a stop to it,” says Detective Fran Gallo with the Bellevue Police Department. “People need to earn what they get and not take it from others."
If you recognize the suspects you’re asked to call police at 402-592-STOP. You may remain anonymous and get a reward of up to $1,000.
