Police say a short time later, Miller’s vehicle left the road, struck a light pole and a fence, then drove through a second fence before coming to a stop in someone’s backyard at 600 W Nance.
A police canine found Miller a short distance away. He was arrested for driving under a 15-year license suspension, a 4th offense DUI, fleeing to avoid arrest, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, and for having no valid registration and no insurance. Results of his blood alcohol level are not yet available.
