Crash Victim Remains in Critical Condition

Terry Silvester, 50, remained in critical condition Monday and Cory Silvester, 41, had been released from the hospital in the aftermath of a traffic accident involving a pick-up truck and a school bus. Both were passengers in the truck driven by Steven Jedlicka, 50, who was killed.

Terry and Cory were passengers in the truck.

The vehicle collided with the bus in Saunders County Thursday morning. Eleven students from East Butler Public Schools suffered minor injuries.

Sheriff Kevin Stukenholtz said the bus, driven by 59-year-old Lyle Divis was going westbound on County Road H when it collided with the pickup southbound on County Road 29 at an intersection with no stop signs or traffic signals about six miles northwest of Valparaiso around 7:30 a.m.
