Authorities have identified the three victims of a three-vehicle crash on the Veterans Memorial Bridge in South Omaha Thursday.
The crash happened about 5 p.m.
Authorities say a pick-up truck driven by 18-year-old Andrea Garcia-Madrid crossed over the median into oncoming eastbound traffic, clipped a Jeep and then went head-on into a semi.
Garcia-Madrid was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center and treated for a broken pelvis, fractured femur, dislocated hip, and a lacerated spleen. The injuries are severe but not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the Jeep, 50-year-old Angela Clark, was treated for back pain at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center ER and released.
The driver of the Semi, 46-year-old Carl Deal of Council Bluffs, complained of shoulder pain and was transported, treated and released from CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center ER.
The crash shut down eastbound traffic into Iowa while the injured were attended and police pieced together what happened.
The crash remains under investigation.
