OPPD crews restored power to midtown customers after a traffic accident caused an outage Saturday morning.

Two circuits locked out after a car hit electrical equipment at Saddle Creek and Emile. The outage initially impacted about 1,400 customers starting at 8:24 a.m. One circuit was bound by Farnam to Leavenworth, 42nd to 48th and the other area was from Cass to Leavenworth, 35th Avenue to Saddle Creek Road. Several traffic signals along Dodge Street were left dark.

Power was restored to all customers by 11:30 a.m. except for one business where a switch needed to be replaced.
