An accident Thursday morning did more than just inconvenience drivers, the impact was also felt by OPPD customers in the Benson area who lost power.
An SUV crashed into a power pole at 65th and Maple, causing about 2,600 people to lose their electricity. Power was restored by 8:30 a.m.
No word on the extent of injuries in the crash and police have not said if any citations were issued.
