Cox Communications officials say as of 5:30 a.m. Monday access to Cox email has been restored to all customers affected by the previous outage.
Director of public affairs, Gail Graeve says all customers should now be able to send and receive email messages. Over the weekend some customers were not able to receive emails.
Graeve says if you lost access to your email during this outage, you will be able to retrieve those. She says the emails will arrive gradually and may not be delivered in chronological order.
The company is now moving forward with replacing email storage platform equipment and implementing measures to prevent a reoccurrence of these issues.
Graeve says, “We deeply regret the impact this outage has had on our customers and truly appreciate their patience as all Cox resources continue to be focused on this restoration effort.”
