Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine has determined that Omaha police were justified in pursuing suspects last month. The chase ended with one suspect being shot and wounded.
Twenty-four-year old Ren'dell Busch was among five people in the area of 18th and Emmet streets on January 11th. Police said they smelled marijuana in the area and approached the group.
Busch took off running and an officer's gun went off when he was tackled.
