Copper thieves are targeting CenturyLink junction boxes, cutting off service to customers. It happened twice Friday with around 200 customers initially affected.
It happened several times in December. Channel 6 News reported then that thieves sliced into the bottom line after popping open a nearby junction box.
Crews restored phone and computer service Friday night.
