Wednesday's cooler temperatures had some thinking ahead to those crisp fall nights. They had others thinking a little further ahead.
The Holiday Lights on the Gene Leahy Mall were going up. Christmas Decor is the company dressing the trees for the holiday. A few weeks before Thanksgiving, the lights will be turned on to determine where repairs or new lines have to be placed.
Even though it is a little early to start the Christmas lights, it's never too early for some. "The first time I saw somebody putting up Christmas lights this year was in my neighborhood," said Brad Wood. "He puts on a pretty good show, but Labor Day weekend he is up on his roof putting up lights so I had to do the double take."
