Timothy Britt has been sentenced to life in prison for three counts of First Degree Murder.
In addition, he was given 25 to 30 years for three counts of Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony and 30 years for Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person. The sentences are to be served consecutively.
Britt was convicted in connection with the deaths of Miguel Avalos Sr. and his teenaged sons Jose and Miguel Jr. in their Omaha home on July 9, 2012.
Anthony Davis has already been sentenced to three life sentences for the murders.
