The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says it has scheduled prescribed burns at Indian Cave State Park.
The burns will be held between Oct. 29 and Dec. 31.
The commission says the fires are aimed at improving woodland habitat and helping control the spread of invasive plants.
Park trails and roads will be marked with appropriate signs and closed during the prescribed fires.
The park sits on the banks of the Missouri River in southeast Nebraska, east of Shubert.
