The start of a large construction and renovation project at Fremont Area Medical Center means some services will change for patients.
Starting Tuesday morning, walk-in ER patients will be re-routed to a new entrance. Anyone visiting those patients will now have to enter that part of the hospital through the "imaging center" entrance.
However, ambulances headed to the ER won't be re-routed. They'll continue using the old emergency room entrance during the construction.
