The driver of a concrete truck was able to walk away in pretty good shape Thursday after crashing into a ditch. The Gage County Sheriff’s department says 27-year old Brendon Hauder of Milford received minor cuts to his head. His truck was left seriously banged up.
An investigation revealed Hauder was driving on Highway 4 near West Sargent Road when he went onto the shoulder about six miles west of Beatrice. He overcorrected, causing the truck to overturn onto its side, coming to rest in a ditch. Emergency responders were called to the scene about 2pm.
Hauder was wearing his seatbelt.
