Every dog has its day and Wednesday was the day for the hot dog. It was National Hot Dog Day.
In honor of the noble tube-steak, B&B Classic Hot Dogs hosted a dog-downing competition.
Eight competitors tackled the massive three-and-a-half pound chili dogs as a special guest took on a different challenge.
Professional competitive eater, Molly Schuyler, ate B&B's five-and-a-half pound DogZilla.
Molly said, "I never heard about National Hot Dog Day until this year so it's actually pretty cool to even have a day for hot dogs. So I think that's awesome. That's pretty cool."
Molly finished her hot dog in just 2 minutes, 43 seconds.
The winner of the amateur group, Logan Kelly, took 12 minutes, 15 seconds with a dog two pounds lighter than Molly’s.
