Police in Lincoln had their hands full with a suspect who didn't want to be taken into custody, even after being handcuffed.
Police stopped an SUV at 29th and Fair streets just before 4 a.m. Sunday. After putting the driver, 27-year-old Daniel Vanwey, in handcuffs, he began fighting with officers who were forced to take him to the ground.
Vanwey faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, failure to comply and resisting arrest.
