A code violation turned into an arrest incident involving two people on Tuesday. One of the individuals was booked again later in the day.
The Cassgram reports a Plattsmouth police officer was at a residential location for a code violation for overgrown grass and brush. Further investigation determined that the 29-year-old woman at the house was wanted on a warrant issued in Cass County and there was also a driver’s license pickup order issued for her. The 28-year-old man at the house was wanted on a warrant out of Douglas County. Both were processed at the jail.
About three-and-a-half hours later, police observed the woman driving and she was booked again, this time for driving on a suspended license. Later in the day, police were actively looking for individuals named on warrants. Call logs showed two arrest warrant service calls were processed Tuesday evening.
