Clock is Ticking on Early Voting

The deadline for voters to request Early Voting Ballots to be mailed to a specific address is Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 4:00 p.m.

An application for an Early Voting Ballot may be printed from the Election Commission website,, or a voter may send a written request for an Early Voting Ballot, including his or her name, date of birth, phone number, registered address, address where he or she wants the ballot mailed, political party, and his or her signature.

Requests for Early Voting Ballots may be mailed or delivered to 225 North 115th Street, Omaha, NE 68154 or faxed to (402) 444-4181. Early Voting Ballots may not be requested online or by telephone.

Voters may still vote in person at the Election Commission until Monday, May 12, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. or may have an agent pick up his or her ballot at the Election Commission until Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.

All Early Voting Ballots must be received by the Douglas County Election Commission, either at its office or at one of the drop off locations listed below, by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014.

  • Bess Johnson Elkhorn Branch Library

  • Millard Public Schools Foundation
    5225 S 159 Avenue, Omaha, NE 68135
