An undetermined amount of cash was taken and the store clerk assaulted by an armed man during a robbery in Council Bluffs Saturday morning.
It happened around 6 a.m. at the Darrah’s gas station/convenience store near South 36th Street and 9th Avenue just off of Interstate 29. The suspect hit the clerk before fleeing with the money.
