The Omaha Press Club has announced that it will honor Nebraska astronaut Clayton Anderson as its next "Face on the Barroom Floor" at a Nov. 19 roast.
The Press Club since 1971 has honored newsmakers who have made an impact on their community. Artist Jim Horan's caricature drawing of Anderson will be unveiled at the event.
Among 122 newsmakers honored over the years are Omaha billionaire investor Warren Buffett, former Nebraska football coach Tom Osborne and comedian Larry the Cable Guy.
The public is invited. Dinner is $40 for Press Club members and $50 for nonmembers.
