City Offers Fun, Recreation This Summer

Summer has arrived! You can still discover the fun and adventure with Omaha Parks & Recreation summer programs: Rec’s Kids Club and Hummel Park Day Camp.

Rec’s Kids Club is a ten-week free summer program that provides fun-filled activities such as crafts, games, sports, swimming, special events and field trips for youth ages 6-12 yrs. The program takes place Monday-Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Pre-registration is not necessary. Children can register and anytime during the duration of the summer program.

Hummel Park Day Camp is an outdoor recreation and education program for youth who have completed 1st through 7th grade this current school year. Week long camps run from June 3 – August 9. The cost for this camp is $95 per camper. For available space check website.

Click on the related link below to register, then select the “Activity Registrations” button on the right side of the home page. By creating an on-line account you can register for programs, view program details, pay with a credit card, pay a balance, and print payment receipts. You enter your information one time, and each time you register for a new Omaha Parks and Recreation program, your information remains in the system. You may also register in person at any City of Omaha Community Center.
