Sammy says it’s kind of weird. And you have to admit, he’s right. Santa doesn’t often drop in on the metro at this time of year.
But there he was on Wednesday, paying a visit to the kids at Children’s Hospital.
“It’s kind of weird to see Santa in July,” Sammy said. “But it’s really nice,” he added.
Santa paid a surprise visit to the kids to celebrate Christmas in July.
Sammy's mother says they drive in frequently from Columbus for treatment and lab work so something like this really made their day.
Mom, Erin Nahorney, said, “Today is special because we have our cousin here from Seattle, so they got to stand in line with us with their hats on and wait for Santa together. To have experiences like this, especially with his cousin and others, it is really heartwarming."
Not only did the kids get to visit Santa but they walked away with some great presents.
