Art lovers will soon be able to purchase a very unique piece, created by some special artists.

Triplets Ryleigh, Teagan, and Grace Wright spent the day, Tuesday, working on a Mosaic piece that will be part of the silent auction at this year's Hope in the Heartland Gala. The American Cancer Society's event aims to not only raise money to support cancer research and patients, but to give children a direct role. Two of the three Wright triplets suffer from leukemia.

Event Coordinator Holly Radke said, "Every year we find different families to come in and do the project. It's just a way for them to kind of escape from the day-to-day treatment that they're going through and every year we've done a different project."

The Gala is set for Friday, July 25 at Stinkson Park in Aksarben Village. The event also features food vendors, live entertainment, and horse racing. Tickets are still available.

WOWT NBC Omaha is proud to, once again, sponsor the Hope in the Heartland Gala.
