The associate director of a national child welfare center has been arrested in Lincoln for allegedly exposing himself to four teenage girls.
Steven Preister, 68, was arrested Monday night.
Police say he was in Lincoln for a conference with the Department of Health and Human Services about child welfare.
Investigators say Preister confronted the girls, ages 14 to 15, as they walked down a stairwell in a Lincoln hotel. They say he was intoxicated and was wearing only a T-shirt.
Police say Preister told the girls they were being too loud.
Police arrested Preister for disturbing the peace and public nudity.
Preister is associate director of the National Child Welfare Resource Center for Organizational Improvement.
