Child porn sends man to prison. 23-year-old Brian Mills of Eagle had pled guilty to a Class III Felony for having child pornography on his cell phone. Mills pled guilty to possession of visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving children for one of the pictures. A plea agreement resulted in seven other charges being dropped against Mills for other pictures on the phone.
The Cassgram reports the prosecution said a man who resided with Mills found the pictures on the phone and contacted the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.
Cass County District Court Judge Randall Rehmeier sentenced Mills to not less than 15 months and not more than 30 months in the Nebraska Department of Corrections. Credit was given for the 93 days already served in the Cass County Jail.
Mills’ name will be entered on the state sex offender registry.
