An eight-year-old girl was slightly injured Thursday afternoon after being hit by a car at 48th and Harrison.
Bellevue police got the call just after 4 p.m.
Captain Chuck Clark said the driver had the green light, heading eastbound on Harrison. He said the girl crossed when she shouldn't have. The driver tried to stop but hit her.
Captain Clark said the child didn't have any pain or obvious injuries but was transported to Children's to be checked out.
The driver will not be cited.
