An accused killer will be tried as an adult. A judge has denied a request to take the case to juvenile court.
The suspect, Zachary Neuberger, is accused of killing Lincoln 19-year-old Naif Al-Kazahy in July, 10 days before Neuberger's 18th birthday.
Police say the shooting followed a brawl involving a baseball bat and brass knuckles. Neuberger is charged with second-degree murder. If convicted, he could face anywhere from 20 years to life in prison.
