Police in Bellevue have a man in custody following a pursuit Tuesday morning.
Around 3:00 AM, a person in the neighborhood just south of 32nd & Chandler called in a suspicious man who was walking the neighborhood and getting in and out of a vehicle.
When police got there, they spotted the vehicle and waiting for the man to return.
When he came back, investigators say officers tried to pull him over and he drove off. They followed as he headed south on 32nd St. and went into privately owned farm land.
Police say when he reached the farm land and went off road, officers followed, on foot. The vehicle crashed through several fences, startling horses in the area.
According to police, he vehicle got stuck in the pasture and the man got out and ran from police until he found another vehicle to steal.
That vehicle ended up high centered on a private driveway, and police gave chase again when he allegedly got out and ran. They tased him and took him into custody.
The suspect was later identified as 25-year-old Justin Chamley.
Chamley faces a long list of charges, including theft and carrying a concealed weapon for an ice pick found in his pocket.
