A cement truck with a full load took a turn a little too sharply Friday afternoon, causing the vehicle to tip over, pinning the driver.
The accident closed off much of the 13th Street and Missouri Avenue intersection. The driver was not seriously injured, but he did have to be cut out of the cab.
We’re told the truck was carrying a full load of cement, which could have weighed up to 66,000 pounds. The load stayed stagnant too long and was ruined.
