Job seekers had a chance to do some "meet and greet" with some potential employers Thursday.
The second annual "Celebrate Diversity Job Fair brought together nearly 50 employers to Metropolitan Community College's Fort Omaha Campus in the Culinary Arts building.
The event is part of Omaha's Diversity Week.
Elizabeth Tucker has been frustrated with her job search so far. But she did find a couple of job leads during the fair. She also appreciates the chance meet with potential employers in person.
"I like the face to face," Tucker said. "And I like how they put this job fair together, because they have really nice PR people. And they answer your questions very thoroughly about different positions they have here."
The event also provided workshops on improving resumes and improving job interview skills. There was also a cyber café on site where people could apply for jobs online.
