After a year-and-a-half behind bars, Francis Cayou has been formally sentenced to 50 years in prison for conspiracy.
Cayou was sentenced on Friday. He was part of a group involved in the killing of South High student Montrell Wiseman in 2012.
Investigators say the suspects picked Wiseman at random believing he was in a rival gang because he was wearing red.
