Catching A Break From The Extreme Cold

Thursday's highs were the warmest the Heartland has seen in over a week.

High temperatures across the board topped out in the 30s and low 40s. Eppley Airport in Omaha climbed to 32° while Shenandoah also hit the freezing mark. Even warmer was Falls City with an afternoon reading of 37°, and Norfolk was one of the warmest spots of all with the mercury rising to a relatively balmy 40°.

Thursday's temperatures turned out to be the mildest since December 4th.
