The teenager accused of carjacking a woman and her son will stand trial.
Mganga Mganga's case was bound over to District Court Tuesday. He is charged as an adult.
In March, he allegedly pulled out a gun and forced a woman and her son out of their van at 50th and Charles. Police later said the gun was fake; made out of plastic. Mganga was arrested, not far from the scene, following a brief pursuit.
At the time of the carjacking, Mganga was out of jail, on bond. He faces charges in three other robberies, all of which police said involved a weapon.
