The good news is an 18-year old driver did not suffer life-threatening injuries in a crash southwest of Beatrice Sunday. When you look at how Taylor Shinn’s car ended up like it did might leave you wondering: How did that happen?
The Gage County Sheriff’s Office says Shinn was traveling westbound on W. PWF Road about 11am Sunday. The 1995 Ford Contour left the roadway, entered the north ditch, struck a field driveway, and then went airborne.
The car came to rest on its side on W. PWF Road about a quarter mile east of SW 75th Road.
First responders stabilized the car while removing Shinn from the car.
Shinn was transported to Bryan LGH West Hospital in Lincoln for treatment. Shinn has since been released.
