A man was killed in southwest Iowa Saturday evening after a car turned into the path of his motorcycle. The other driver will be okay.
The incident was reported at 7:35 p.m. at Highway 2 and Main Street in New Market, Iowa. The Iowa State Patrol says 53-year old Kendall Wallace of Cookeville, Tennessee was traveling westbound on Highway 2. A car driven by 19-year-old Forrest Greenwood of Clarinda was going eastbound. Crash investigators say Greenwood turned into the path of Wallace.
Wallace was pronounced dead at the scene. Greenwood was treated and released at Clarinda Regional Hospital. Possible charges are pending further investigation.
