Cancer Cases Expected To Spike By 2030

Cases of cancer are expected to spike by more than 75% by 2030.

Researchers looked at the number of global cancer cases in 2008 and combined that information with data population size and income expected in 2030.

They found there will be a surge in cases that typically affect affluent countries, like breast and prostate cancer. Experts say a majority of the increase in cases is expected in low-income countries.
