A 41-year-old woman who's been living in the eastern Nebraska town of Benedict has pleaded no contest to a charge of failing to report as a convicted sex offender.
Tambra Lopez is scheduled for sentencing on March 15. She faces up to five years in prison.
Nebraska online records say Lopez also is known as Tambra McClure and Tambra Lynn Patz.
Authorities say Lopez had been living in Benedict for at least seven months without notifying the York County Sheriff's Office, as required by sex offender laws.
The records say Lopez was convicted in 1999 of having sex with a
minor in Kern County, California.
