As the College World Series wound down Wednesday, fans were starting to look back at what they'll remember about this year's games.
Spectators filled the Fan Zone before the game. We caught up with Ryan Batt who came to the park with his father and his son Blake.
Blake enjoyed hitting in the batting cage while Ryan told us he wishes there were more home runs hit.
He said, “The long ball is a fun game and it's definitely been missed this year. It makes the games a lot more dull, because you know there's not going to be the high scoring runs that there were the past couple nights. There's not going to be the bombs that there usually are that could change a game in a heartbeat."
One of those heartbeat moments happened in the eighth inning Wednesday night. A solo homer put Vanderbilt up 3-2 over Virginia. It was the third home run of the series.
