A "few dozen" Chevy Volt owners have asked GM to buy back their vehicles.
So far, General Motors has agreed to repurchase about a dozen of those Volts from owners who are concerned their vehicle will catch on fire.
GM has offered to buy back Chevy Volts as the government investigates fires involving the Volt's lithium-ion batteries.
GM has also offered free loaner vehicles to make sure Volt owners don't lose confidence in their cars.
