The fire began around 1:30 a.m. at a home near 3rd and Front streets. When crews arrived they found the fire had completely consumed the garage.
Firefighters from Neola, Minden and Underwood were called in. The house on the property was evacuated as a precaution while crews were fighting the fire.
Investigators do not yet know what caused the blaze.
