Busy Weekend For Emergency Responders

Busy weekend for volunteer fire and rescue. The Cassgram posted the call list

---Greenwood Fire and Rescue was among the responding agencies to a crash on westbound Interstate 80 near mile marker 418 on Saturday.

---The logs also show accidents at the following locations that did not involve injuries: 1300 Avenue D in Plattsmouth (The Masonic Home area) on Saturday, on Trumball Terrace at Beaver Lake on Saturday, and in the 15000 block of Schneider Lane.

---Greenwood Fire and Rescue was paged to a one-vehicle rollover accident this morning on Greenwood Drive just east of 214th Street. The vehicle was reported to be in a ditch. That 911 report was received about 7:35 this morning.

---Plattsmouth Volunteer Fire Department crews responded to a field fire in the 4400 block of Cedar Creek Road in the windy and dry conditions Friday afternoon. Reports show Murray and Louisville were dispatched for mutual aid and the Cass County Emergency Management Agency was on scene.
