Bus Stop Removal
The city of Omaha is removing several bus stops along 16th Street and will have to shut down some of the surrounding streets and lanes.
Due to removal of Omaha Metro bus shelters along 16th Street, the following road closures and restrictions are scheduled:
Beginning Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 7 am, 16th Street between Farnam Street and Harney Street will be closed. Closure will be in effect until 6 pm on Sunday, October 7th, 2012.
Beginning Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 7 am, 16th Street between Farnam Street and Douglas Street will be closed. Also, the north parking lane and one lane of travel west bound on Farnam Street from 15th to 16th Street will be closed.
Beginning Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 7 am, 16th Street between Howard Street and Harney Street will be closed. Closure will be in effect until 6 pm on Sunday, October 21st, 2012.
