A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for central Johnson, northwestern Nemaha, southern Otoe and northeastern Pawnee counties in Nebraska until 3:15 p.m. Sunday. A tornado watch is in effect for parts of southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa until 10 p.m. Sunday.
It didn't take Todd Daganaar long to realize that his businesses were being singled out by a burglary susupect. "It was either very well cased or he had operated our cash drawer personally," said Daganaar.
Backing up Daganaar's suspicion that a former employee might be the suspect in the two burglary attempts in the past week is the store's location and what they sell. Nebraska Appliance Parts isn't a popular target for random thieves. "We've never had a problem at this location before," said Daganaar.
