The National Weather Service continues the heat advisory through Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures once again on Tuesday will rise to the upper 90s however high humidity will make it feel like 105 to 110 degrees.
An unpleasant surprise came in the form of a brick and broken glass during lunch at the Subway restaurant near 40th and Dodge on Wednesday.
50-year-old Hardy Jones is under arrest for allegedly throwing the brick.
According to police, Hardy walked by and threw the landscaping brick through the window and walked off to a nearby gas station.
He made a purchase at the gas station and then headed back towards the Subway and walked by again, saying nothing.
It was at that point that police made an arrest.
Jones faces misdemeanor charges.
