Larry Bradley and incumbent Bob Whitehouse have both advanced in the race to represent eastern Omaha on the University of Nebraska Board of Regents.
They were the only two candidates listed in Tuesday's primary
race for the fourth district.
Whitehouse, an educational consultant and former high school
principal, was elected to the board in 2006. He serves as the
board's chairman. Bradley is an adjunct professor at the University
of Nebraska-Omaha and has served on the Papio-Missouri Natural
Resource District.
The regents' district includes eastern Douglas and northeast
Sarpy counties.
